The Fascist Turkish State is Responsible for the Paris Massacre!
On 23 December 2022, in the armed attack on the Ahmet Kaya Kurdish Cultural Centre in Paris, Evin Goyi (Emine Kara), one of the leading cadres of the Kurdish women’s movement, artist Mir Perwer (Mehmet Şirin Aydın) and Kurdish patriot Abdurrahman Kızıl lost their lives and six people were injured.
This attack is a continuation of the attacks and massacres organised by the fascist Turkish state in Europe. Since 12 September 1980, the Turkish state has carried out dozens of attacks in Western Europe, killing many revolutionaries and patriots. This attack organised in Paris is a continuation of the previous attacks. One of the most important proofs of this is the statements of the Turkish state spokespersons, especially R.T.Erdoğan, that such attacks have been and will be carried out at every opportunity.
The Turkish state, through the MIT, has organised a large agent organisation in Europe to follow and identify revolutionaries and cadres of the Kurdish movement and to plan assassinations. It is known that in Europe, where two thousand MIT agents operate, the confessions of some MIT agents caught red-handed have been made public. With these confessions, it has been revealed that there are assassination plans and lists prepared for revolutionaries and patriots to be attacked.
The last example of these attacks took place in Paris, the capital of France. Although it was a Frenchman who pulled the trigger in the massacre on 23 December, it is clear that the Turkish state was behind the massacre. It is no coincidence that the killer first attacked the Kurdish Cultural Centre, then a restaurant and a hairdresser run by Kurds. Moreover, the fact that the attacker was brought in a car and left in front of the Kurdish Cultural Centre shows that the attack was planned in advance and that the target was Kurds.
After the incident, Paris Prosecutor Laure Beccuau’s statement that the attacker was “racist” is an attitude that trivialises the attack. The prosecutor’s decision to keep the file confidential also strengthens the possibility of evidence being obscured.
On 9 January 2013, after the murder of Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez in Paris, the Paris Prosecutor’s Office, instead of solving the case, prolonged the case and waited for the death of the MIT informant murderer Ömer Güney and closed the case after this murderer died in prison. The French state, which did not open a case for three years, thus tried to cover up the incident. In the first Paris massacre, the French state, in co-operation with the Turkish state, covered up the case, even though it was revealed with all the evidence that it was the Turkish MIT that organised and carried out the massacre.
European governments turn a blind eye even though they are aware of the Turkish state’s MIT organisation in Europe. While the confessions of the captured and prosecuted MIT elements are obvious, these MIT elements are either released immediately or the cases are closed with fines.
There is a strong possibility that the second Paris massacre will also be covered up and the case will be closed before it is opened. Just as the French state waited for the death of the murderer Ömer Güney in the first Paris massacre, it will not be a surprise that the French attacker who committed the second Paris massacre and was captured will somehow disappear. It is not in vain that the French authorities and the Paris Prosecutor have already declared that the captured murderer “is a racist and mentally unstable”. Although the French state, in co-operation with the Turkish state, is trying to cover up this massacre and close the file, the public knows that this attack was planned by the Turkish state.
The Turkish state’s war against the Kurdish people continues. The Turkish army attacked the Medya Defence Areas and Syrian Kurdistan with chemical weapons and massacred dozens of guerrillas. Hundreds of people were killed or injured as a result of the attacks of the Turkish state, which bombed Kurdish settlements and villages incessantly.
Kurds have been resisting for their national rights for a hundred years. The Kurdish people, who have paid a great price, have never surrendered to the attacks of the Turkish state. Although the Turkish state makes a great show of strength after each attack, it cannot hold on against the guerrilla and suffers losses. It is not possible for the Turkish Republic, which even hides its losses from the public, to end this just resistance.
The Turkish state is trying to respond to its defeat in the face of the resistance of the Kurdish nation with dastardly attacks, as seen in the last massacre attack in Paris. It is possible to see that the Turkish state is behind the attack from the publications of the media controlled by the Turkish state after the attack.
The Paris massacre is a ring of the fascist terror of the Turkish state against the Kurdish nation, revolutionaries and patriots. As long as fascism exists, such attacks will continue. We will respond to this aggression of the fascist Turkish state by organising and growing the revolutionary struggle.
